We are very pleased to announce the release of Exception Hunter 1.0. You can get it from
http://www.red-gate.com/products/Except ... /index.htm
Eliminate runtime crashes before they happen. Exception Hunter analyses your .NET code, and any libraries you use, including the .NET Framework Class Libraries, to work out what exceptions can be thrown by any method. You can walk over the stack traces for each and every exception, and where source code is available, open up at the exact line of interest in Visual Studio.
Never before has this kind of .NET code analysis been possible.
Exception Hunter supports .NET Framework versions 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, and 3.5. It allows you to open your code for editing in Visual Studio .NET 2002, Visual Studio .NET 2003, Visual Studio 2005, and Visual Studio 2008. Please note that Exception Hunter does not support the .NET Framework 1.0, although as previously stated, it is possible to open code for editing in Visual Studio .NET 2002. Exception Hunter supports assemblies built from the following source languages: C#, VB.NET, J#, and Managed C++ compiled with /pure.
System requirements:
• Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 or Windows Vista
• Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
• Visual Studio .NET 2002 or later (optional, only used to open source code for editing)
• Minimum 256 MB RAM
• 100 MB hard disk space
As is the case with most of our tools, Exception Hunter 1.0 includes a 14-day fully-functional free trial period during which you can evaluate its capabilities. We also offer generous discounts when purchasing multiple licenses, or when bundled with ANTS Profiler.
Please download it, and we hope you enjoy using it.
Kind regards,
