Activity History not matching current SQL 2005 log

I'm new to the Red-Gate tools. Recently, I opened up SQL Backup 5 (5.2.0.2825) and added one of my SQL 2005 servers. Although the Server Components are not installed on the server, I am able to see Activity History for the backup jobs. I noticed that the entries in the Activity History do not match what I'm seeing in the current SQL log. I'm showing many failures for my jobs in the SQL log, but the same is not showing up in the Backup 5 tool.

Can you tell me why this may be occurring?
