Comments

  • It appears my problem was trying tp restore via UNC as after I copied the files to the local server I was able to do the restore. Is there a threshhold that you should not go above when doing a restore from a unc path, this backup file is close to 60gb in size??
  • Toeho,

There is no theoretical limit placed on this by SQL Backup (There may be some from file systems etc), however this sort of error can be caused by intermittent network connectivity loss.

Where there any short term outages during the restore process?
