SQL Prompt slows down Managment Studio Startup

Hi
Recently I (and my colleagues) have noticed incredibly slow start-up times for management studio, on the order of 5 to 10 minutes.
I have traced this down to SQL Prompt connecting to all the servers in its cache. it seems to do this synchronously. at the same time i receive a large number of errors in my event log for DCOM failures.
We operate in an environment with a large number of servers (70+) of with varied connectivity since they are spread out over the globe.
Is there a way to disable this on start up cost?
(deleting the cache does sort the problem out but doesn't really provide a conclusive solution)

Could you please let us know which version of SQL Prompt you are using please?
You'll find the version number in the About box (available via SQL Prompt > About on the main menu bar of your editor).
