inaccurate reporting-not sure why

Hi,
Are you comparing ACT's results for each object to ANTS Load's results for each page? ANTS Load has the capability to 'group' requests together so that you can see how long a complete page including images took. The requests are blocked in on the ANTS Load script between BeginPage and EndPage statements. That would explain why ANTS Load is reporting significantly less hits.
There are some threshold settings in ANTS Load that you can set to determine a failure as well. You'll find them in the Options tab on the Edit Load dialogue.
