URGENT - Changing Target database resets all my selections

Good afternoon,
I am urgently trying to do a data compare by the end of the day. I am using Data Compare 5 (I did not see a forum for this).
I have a comparison project set up between two databases. I have the specific Tables and View selected and configured with filters the way i want them.
HOwever, I need to change the TARGET database. When I do this, it RESETS all of my options and i lose every single change i have made.
I have to say, this is extremely iritating. I even tried modifying the XML it produces for the comparison project, but when i load it, it still resets everything.
Please tell me there is a way to NOT have it reset everything.
Thanks...
Scott

Apologies if this is causing you grief. Unfortunately, the only way to NOT have it reset everything is to get SQL Data Compare v6 as we have fixed the problem in this version.
I'm not aware of any workaround for version 5 sadly.

Thank you very much for the response. I started digging around and found that we can upgrade to version 6 for free so I will be doing that ASAP.
Thanks again...

I really hope you like the new version as much as we do.
