Hi Charles,
It looks very doubtful. What you'd be doing is storing your whole database in XML format on your hard disk.
You can use SQL Packager to create what is effectively a snapshot of a database. You'd have to restore the package to a database to get a comparison again though...

This is something that the SQL Packager was designed to do. Have you had a look at the Packager software?
Unfortunately we have no plans to implement that kind of functionality at current.
