I had an eval version of the program before i purchased the licenced version
when i removed the eval it removed the association betweent the sdc files and the app.
when i try to restore the association it doesn't take
(not sure what up there)
its there a script and or procedure i can use to restore it without reinstalling the product.
just wondering
thanks

The answer to your question is that neither Data Compare nor SQL Compare project files produced by version 5 never had a file association in Windows Explorer. This was done intentionally, although I'm not sure exactly why. Associating the file manually will not help -- the programs still will not load the project file when it's double-clicked.
Version 4 and lower of these project files associated themselves with SQL and SQL Data Compare, so you could double-click an SDC file and it would load it into SQL Data Compare.
I'm sorry if this causes you any problems.
