Is there a way to have either the export or a report show only key fields and the fields that have differences. We have tables with hundreds of fields (most of them compare perfectly) and I want to be able to provide the end users with only differences they need to work with?

SQL Data Compare can filter by object (table) and include various combinations of different, missing, and additional records. It doesn't, however, allow you to exclude certain columns from the set of 'different records'. You would have to limit these columns by not actually comparing them to begin with, then naturally they would not appear in the exported results.
