Problem with Management Studio after Service Pack upgrade

My workstation runs Windows XP Service Pack 2 and I’ve had SQL Prompt 3.1 running with Management Studio with no problems.
This morning (as I have a local copy of SQL Server 2005 on my PC for development purposes) I installed Service Pack 2 and GDR2.
Now SQL Prompt won’t work and if you attempt to access any options from the SQL Prompt dropdown you get the following message:
“The Add-in supporting this command could not be loaded. Do you wish to remove the command?
If you choose yes, you can re-create the command by reinstalling the Add-in.â€
I’ve tried running sqlwb /setup but to no avail.
It works OK with Query Analyzer.
Will I need to remove and re-install SQL Prompt?
Regards

I think this may simply be a matter of an incompatibility between SQL Prompt and SP2 for SQL Server 2005. Have you got SQL Prompt 3.1 installed? Version 3.0 will probably not work any more and you'll need to upgrade it.
I'd already upgraded to 3.1 before applying SP2 and GSD2.

Maybe you should go ahead an uninstall and reinstall Prompt.
Just to let you know, I ran setup again, choosing repair and that sorted it.

Excellent! I'm glad that this worked for you. Thanks for writing back.
