Hi All,
I am having trouble getting SQL compare to work when stored procedures are involved. It appears that SQL compare is trying to update the stored procs before the schema, this ofcourse results in the stored proc update failing. So I unticked all the sored procs from the sync process but then the old stored procs cause it to fail. I end up deleting all the stored procs syncing up then re-creating them. Why doesnt SQL compare do this!

Sorry, about the trouble you are having with SQL Compare. Unfortunately without know what sort of schema changes you are making it is a bit difficult to diagnose your problem. As you say SQL Compare should be able to cope with stored procedure dependencies.
If you can post a more detailed example of your problem I will see what I can do to help. Or alternatively you can raise a ticket with our support team by emailing support@red-gate.com.
