BUG? Keys not working in Management Studio after expiration

Hi,
I ran into an interesting issue. After my trial expired, certain keys in Management Studio were rendered useless. For example: back-space, control and arrow-keys. There might have been others, but those are the main ones I noticed. Note that they worked as expected in every other application. To resolve the issue I uninstalled SQL Refactor and the issue resolved itself.
For reference I am running Windows XP with a Microsoft Wireless Multimedia Keyboard and Wireless IntiliMouse Explorer 2.0 (packaged set) with the latest drivers. If you need any more information please let me know.
