Split table doesn't do anything

Ian1971Ian1971 Posts: 44
Hello. I was quite excite to find Sql Refactoring, but I am having some problems getting it to work. When I try and do split table I do the first 3 steps (table name, column selection and foreign key selection) after which it just closes the refactoring window and I am left back on the Sql management studio. I tried the rename refactoring and it did the same.
I am trying to refactor a Sql 2000 db, it does do that right?

Thanks
Ian

  • I just though that you would like to know that we have been able to reproduce and fix the problem that you reported, it will be included in SQL Refactor 1.1, which should be released in the next few weeks. It occurred when there were referring objects which contained queries that referencing objects that were in other databases.

Many thanks for reporting this issue with SQL Refactor.
