Notification not working

Hi

We have a job thta restores all the trans log backups for different databases. The job works fine except that the email notification doesn't work ... The email operators are setup properly on the server and it works for other jobs. The restore job will fail but won;t send a notification (we set it up to send us notification when it fails).

Any ideas why?

    Could you pls send me the contents of the log file for the task that failed to send the notification? Default folder for log files is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Red Gate\SQL Backup\Log\<instance name>.
