Restoring an encrypted database on a different server

Hi..

I have created an encrypted backup on our live server.

How do i restore it onto an test server?

So far i have tried it using the GUI, and it fails. It does not ask me for the password so i am assummnig its not realising that the file is encrypted.

Hi..

Found the problem, I was trying to restore an incomplete backup file.

This had been created because when ever I update/modify the job using SQL Backup GUI it keeps on defaulting the save location to an old path.

At some point I must have modified the job and not changed the default path back to what I wanted.
