Unicode script problem

Hi Andy,
It looks like a problem with Query Analyzer -- I've tried setting the
text options to Unicode, OEM, and ANSI, and the superflous characters don't
go away.
You can open the file in Notepad just fine, though. You can even copy
from Notepad and paste into QA with no ill-effects, which is kind of
strange.
I think that this might have something to do with the UTF-8 preamble
being removed from the front of the output files. The trouble is that we had
lots of requests to change the UTF-8 format to the way it is now.
