Hello,
when I try to start a new installation or repair installation of the ants profiler, I get the error message:
1923: Service ANTSProfiler service could not be installed. Verify that you have sufficient priviliges to install system services.
I am logged in as a member of the local administrators group and even if I log in as the administrator i get this message.
I was able to use the demo version, after having entered the serial number, I got the problem.
Please help.

Here are some other reasons why you wouldn't be able to install a service and some fix actions:
1 - The event log may be full. Please clear all event logs
2 - Reboot the server and try again
3 - Go to C:\program files\red gate\ants profiler (if it exists)
and check that you have full control permissions over the RedGate.Profiler.Service.exe file (if it exists).
4 - Something is wrong with Windows Installer. Try going to www.microsoft.com/downloads and download and install the latest version of Windows Installer.
Hopefully it is one of these problems.
thank you for your answer.
The eventlog was not full, but anyway I cleared it.
I restarted the machine many times.
I have full control rights on the directory and executable
We are using Windows installer 3.1 v2.
The problem still exists.
I even cleared everything out of the registry, which stays after deinstallation, which is found searching for Antsprofiler, Red Gate, Red-Gate and Redgate.
Nothing helped, I am not able to use the full version of the profiler.

could it be a problem with IIS?
Do we need any server extentsions?
When the profiler starts it tries to stop and start the IIS.
This sequence seems to short for me.
A dialog appears a very short time and closes immediatly.
After that, I get the message, that the profiler service is not running.
When I look into the service list, it is running.
Any Ideas?
