We are trying to do a complete restore to one of our servers to recover data, a process that we have to do a couple times a month. The person doing the restore has commented that restore times are very long(currently after running for 2 hours only 6GB have been restored) and has the long pauses which occur at roughly the same sport each time. In this case, around 600MB, the restore job appears to pause for as long as 45 minutes, before continuing. Has anyone else seen this kind of behavior?
System is a Dell dual 2.4Ghz Xeon, 2GB memory. Using SQL Backup 3.2.0
