Nested Virtual Directory Creation

Hi there,
I would like to automate nested virtual directory creation using DM.
Challenge physical path changes every time as the Release Number is appended to the parent website's physical path in side which the nested virtual directory is created. The fun is the physical path of this nested virtual directory doesn't change.

Can you please help?

I have already written a similar script.
Unfortunately we are still using IIS 6 and the powershell script which I have written or you are suggesting is supported in IIS 7.

We need an alternative method.
