Problem with data available

I have loaded Yesterdays full backup, and all the transaction log files, however no updates are appearing in the results. The backups are not corrupted. I had no problems when I only took one backup a day and one transaction log backup, but I am now doing hourly backups, has this made the difference?
I am trying to route out a specific problem, but cannot trace it because of all the update log records are missing.
