migrate sql Compare to a different computer?

I had to move our install of SQL compare to a different computer. I read somewhere in the forums that all I need to do is send in my serial number to you guys at support [at] red-gate.com.
does that still hold true?

i would just try your serial number on the new machine - it should work fine. If it does not work please email sales@red-gate.com and they will check out the details on our software activation server.
