Hi!
I'm trying to activate SQL Compare 4. I used the email procedure. I sent the text and got the reply. But when I enter the text that I received by email, I get the following message : The activation response does not match the registration properties. Please make sure you have all the text copied between, and including, the <activationresponse> and the </activationresponse> tags.
What I'm I doing wrong? I checked many times to make sure that I copied and pasted the entire text correctly, but I still doesn't work.

I'm assuming you've got support and are entitled to version 5. I'd download that if it's a free upgrade, and install and activate that. There is a bug in the licensing server affecting users that have pre-2004 serial numbers (ones that begin with RG-) that are entitled to v5 but activate v4. So when you try to activate v4, you get a response back indicating v5 and then you get this error about the response not matching the registration properties.
