Deploy to a network share

Is it possible to deploy to a network share from Deployment Manager? I've tried but DM doesn't find the target network share - probably because of permission errors?

    It should be possible, but I imagine permissions are indeed the reason why it's not working. The default system account the agent runs as most likely can't access the shares.

    You can change the DM Agent service on the target server to use a domain account of your choosing, although whenever you upgrade, we currently recommend you switch it back to Local System for the duration of the update process, otherwise problems can occur.

    Yes, switching to another account solved this issue, which indeed was caused by insufficient permissions.

    I will try to remember to temporarily change back to the default account when it's time to upgrade the agent. Thanks for pointing this out.
