Disabling Tab History

There are times when an adhoc script has sensitive information that I don't necessarily want saved out on an unencrypted location. I found that the Tab History feature, cool as it is, saves some of this stuff, I'd rather not be saved.

Ideally I'd like to be able to disable this feature. I'm not seeing an option to do so. We are in evaluation mode right now and I really want this tool!

Any help would be appreciated.

You can disable this feature by editing the file:
    %localappdata%\Red Gate\SQL Prompt 6\RedGate_SQLPrompt_CommonUI_Options_TabMagicOptions.xml

and setting <Enabled> to false. We are currently considering exposing this as a UI option for 6.4 as there have been a few requests to disable it.

You can also remove individual tabs from the history by right clicking on them and selecting remove.

    Hope that helps!
