SQL SC hangs when checking out files from Git

Just installed SQL Source Control, and linked to 4 databases. I was able to commit changes to 2 databases. Last 2 changes are hanging at step, "Checking out files"
From the command line I can check out files in the associated directories, edit them and commit them.
Ah but in order to do that from SQL Source Control, you have to go custom tab and configure it to talk to Git through the command line interface.
