Object grants not correctly compared by Source Ctrl Oracle.

Hi,

Although Schema Compare for oracle correctly compares object grants, Source Control For Oracle seems not.
Apparently SCFO is ignoring the grants to roles.

    Hi Ivan

Is there any error message when you attempt a check-in or Get Latest with regards to the grants applied to roles?

Does the product throw a dialog that allows you to submit an error report?

Does it appear to initially check-in the changes but once it has refreshed still shows the grants as waiting to be checked in?

    Many Thanks
    Eddie

    Hi Eddie,

Verifying to answer your question has shown I overlooked the role grants...
So, there is no problem with the grants to roles, you can close this ticket.

Reasons I missed them are :
    - in Schema compare for Oracle, both grants to users and roles are grouped together while in SC for Oracle the are separate.
    - Due to the lack of sort functionality on the screen, and the fact they were very far from each other in a long list of objects (initial load into subversion), I found the grants to user, but overlooked the grants to roles.

    Sorry for my misstake,
    Ivan
