Working Folders and Versioning

We trialing SQL Source Control and selected the 'working folder' method. We are new at this so sorry if this is a silly question but we cant see how to see how many versions of a stored procedure or views there are and how to see the difference between each version. We can check in commit the changes ok but wondering if we should be using something else besides the 'working folder' method. We dont have any other source control.

    What version control system are you using to create the working folder? Depending on what this is, there will be various open source options, or tools supplied by the version control tool vendor to manage the repository.l
