migration to new build machine

Hi,

We are migrating to a new build machine, and would like to have the old machine available for backup purposes whilst we get the new one up and fully running. What is the "right" way to do this without violating our license agreements?

Probably the mechanism is to use the same serial number but to request an extra 'activation' from a .Net sales person.
