Feature Request: Show "Root Paths" for an instance

It would really be handy to be able to view the paths to a root object in the memory profiler. This would immediately visualize why an object is still in memory, instead of having to trace all reference paths manually, which can be a lot of work in a large object framework. I have seen this feature in other products.

We should probably look into some kind of graphic representation of object heritage somewhere along the line.
I didn't mean visualizing an object hierarchy, but tracing all references to a live object, and displaying those paths that lead up to a root object. If you expect an object to be garbage collected, and it isn't, that means that it is directly or indirectly referenced by a root object. Finding the path to the root object can be tedious if there are many circular references that don't lead up to a root object. Scitech memory profiler supports this feature which is extremely useful.
yes you are absolutely right. This is a key feature that is missing from the memory profiling part of ANTS Profiler 2.6. We have all the data avilable it is just a matter of deciding on the best way of displaying the multiple paths. This is high on our list of wanted features for the next version of ANTS Profiler.
Thanks for pointing it out!
