Error: the given key was not present in the dictionary

I cannot generate a deployment script in comparing a certain SQL 2012 db. I have tried comparing from different servers, creating new project, etc. When I choose deployment wizard it fails on "calculating dependencies". The message at the bottom says "The given key was not present in the dictionary". This is a big issue as I cannot generate a deployment script.
The database in question uses a FileTable. I am using SQL Compare version 10.38.406 (latest).

Thanks
Kirby

  • Thanks for your post.

I've seen this sort of thing occur with some minor corruptions in the database schema before. The most recent one that springs to mind was related to extended properties.

When you receive the error, are you able to submit the error report with your email address? That should hopefully give us a clue to where the process is failing.
