3.0.11.3531 compression always ignored

Upgraded to 3.0.11.3531 and now compression seems to always be ignored and I can no longer commit this change to tables or indexes.
local linked database has a table with PAGE compression on table and indexes in TFS the target does not have compression.
SQL 2008 R2
