Comparison filter files compatible between versions?

Can a comparison filter file, e.g., MyFilter.scpf, which was created in and written by SQL Compare 10.x be opened and used successfully by SQL Compare 9.x?
I am confident that the filter files are forward compatible: a file written by 9.x can be used by 10.x. But, does it work the other way?
If not, are there specific features that only work in 10.x?

Off the top of my head, I'm not sure - are you actually encountering a problem or were you just enquiring?
We've added the ability to use filters to SQL Source Control now but I don't believe the underlying filter format changed.
I just created a filter in v10 and could open it in v8, but there may be some scenarios where it doesn't work - if this is the case, you'll probably need to create the filter in v9 directly.
So it looks like it should work- but please do post back if you're stuck.
