Hi

I'm looking to do a fresh re-install of SQL Monitor onto a different SQL database and wipe the current data (cos it's pretty mangled). Does anyone know the steps to take to successfully uninstall, transfer the license and install on the new servers? (both web and SQL)

Thanks!

Phil

The process of moving licenses from one server/desktop to another will involved deactivating the license from the existing system, installing the product on the new system and then reactivating the license using the serial number again. You will need internet access if you want to do this seamlessly. We do offer a manual activation option to do this from another computer. For your convenience I have copied some knowledge base articles that show how to license systems. This article can be accessed from our knowledge base at:

In here you will find a link called ' moving a serial number from one computer to another'.

SQL Monitor installation information is available at:

I hope this helps answer your questions.
