What is the planned released date for Version 4 of SQL Backup.
The current version (with the latest patches) does not delete backups for databases with long names (I think the max is 22 characters). We are very pleased with SQL Backup and would like to continue using is, but this is a pretty big inconvience.

I'd be hesitant to throw any dates out there yet, but it shouldn't be too much longer. As I understand there is still a limit -- 128 characters -- because the space needs to be reserved for the backup file header before it is written. If you're hard-pressed, you can download the 3.2.0.5 patch from our FTP site and that should allow 44 characters for the filename in the header rather than 22.
