Application Options: Custom Program

Is there a way that I can have Red-Gate use a custom program and not have it launch a new iteration of the program if it is already open?

Sorry not sure what you mean- can you give an example of the type of custom program you'd like to launch?

Are you talking about saving a Project in SQL Compare and then re-running that project later?

No I am referring to when I launch a script from a compare it always launches another copy of the SSMS instead of just putting it in a new window of the SSMS that is already open.

I am trying to use SSMS Denali CTP tools.

Right- I will see if this is a feature I can add to the list- I agree with you that this is desirable behaviour.

This is feature request: SC-4188 I can't be specific when it will hit the streets just yet but it will happen.
