Non-technical problem

I have been using SQL Compare and SQL Data Compare for more than
two years and I have been very happy. I have to migrate schema and
data as my app flows through dev/qa/production servers. I am not a
DBA and I would have been lost without Red Gate's tools.
There is however, a thorny non-technical problem. My DBA is quite
unhappy that I have usurped many of his responsibilities and the "power"
that comes with it. How do you keep DBA's happy when you use such
amazingly simple tools such as SQL Compare and Data Compare?
