Push a database to test

Ok, i've got a brand new database and we're done with the initial development. Now i need to push it to test. Can i push a database to test using SQL Source Control, or do i need some other method (say, SQL Compare)?

    The recommendation is to use SQL Compare for deployments. You can use the Fast Deploy feature which gives you a one-click mechanism to create a new test instance directly from SSMS.
