I know that this has been brought up before, but it sure would be nice if my log file didn't have tens of thousands of theses informational messages. :x :evil:

Seriously, could someone acknowledge that this is an issue?

    Thanks for your post, and I apologise for the messages you're getting logged. We do have an internal bug for this (reference SC-4655) however as yet it doesn't look to be fixed.
    I've added a note to it referencing this post to give it a "+1".

    Looking at that, it does suggest that turning off the option to decrypt encrypted objects on 2005 + 2008 databases can reduce it; although this won't be much use if you do have encrypted objects you need to work with.

    Unfortunately, we have encrypted objects. Good to hear it's logged as an issue.
  • +1, please find an alternative, or at least configure to turn it off if no encryption exists.
