I have a SQL 2005 database running in 2000 (80) Compatilibity Mode. When I run a database comparison using SQL Compare (9.0.0.79), I see the Stored Procedure difference I would like to move from Test to Prod. This Stored Procedure has an XML parameter being passed to it which is valid in SQL 2005 but invalid in 2000. When I'm using the Synchronization Wizard to move the SP, I get a warning stating this proc has an unsupported datatype. Is SQL Compare / Synchronization Wizard reading the compat mode to determine whether or not syntax is valid?
