Hi,
Have Redgate ran any load tests with & without SQL monitor. Do you have any figures as to the performance impact of SQL Monitor?

There is a section called 'Hardware requirements and performance guidelines'. This is just a summary but is based upon our experience load testing SQL Monitor internally. We haven't published further details but this is something we could possibly do in the future if there is a demand for it.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the link but I was thinking more about the impact of performance on monitored servers. Presumably this is minimal.
Thanks.

We aim for minimal performance impact on the monitored SQL Server. Of course it isn't possible to eliminate this completely, but we are currently using SQL Monitor on Red Gate's production SQL Servers and we haven't seen any noticeable performance impact.
Cheers,
