Recording gives: Engine returned Unknown Error

When I hit the button "Record" it takes a long time and then I get the error:

Recording
Engine returned Unknown Error

How can I solve this? I am running Windows 2003 (no SP) in a Virtual PC environment. ANTS Profiler is also installed.

    Hello,

    Does the web browser appear? It could either be that the web browser couldn't be started or that there is something wrong with the Visual Studio for Applications installation that is included with ANTS Load.

    First, can you try re-registering the web browser by running regsvr32 shdocvw.dll from the command prompt? The next step would be to make sure that you have got .NET Framework 1.1 installed, then as a last resort, uninstall and reinstall ANTS Load.

    No the browser doesn't start either.
    I already tried the reregistering shdocvw.dll, but that didn't help.

    I will try to reinstall ants load next monday. .NET 1.1 sp1 is installed.
