Scheduling 'Create Snapshot'

Hi there,

I've a question about creating SQL Compare Snapshots:
Is it possible to schedule this action?
I would like to automatically create a snapshot of each database every night, like I schedule backups.

Hi Jonathan,

Many thanks for your post. If you have the PRO version of SQL Compare you are granted access to the command line interface of the tool. One of the switches available is to generate a snapshot of a DB, so with this in mind you could create a batch file to generate the snapshot and then schedule the batch file to run using Windows Task Scheduler.
