upgraded sql from 2000 to 2005

I upgraded our sql server today but now SQL backup will not connect to the server. I am getting the following error. Could not load the DLL xp_sqlbackup.dll
I am assuming that i need to update the dll's but cant install any components due to it not being the correct version.

Hi Andrew,

It sounds to me like you may need to perform a re-install of the server side components on your 2005 DB.

To do this, locate the SQBServerSetup.exe from the SQL Backup Program files on the machine where the GUI is installed. Next, copy that manually on to the 2005 machine and run it.

This should then set everything back up again for you. If this is a cluster, it is worth mentioning that you need to copy it across to and run it on each active node.
