no, uninstall redgate for SSMS extensions only.when im connecting to a databases via my ssms it opens up multiple connections including 1 from ssms and 4 from redgate (that is a part of ssms tool)
SQL Prompt, SQL Search and SQL Test are add-ins for SSMS, they don't have their own UI so you could go ahead and uninstall them.
SQL Compare, SQL Data Compare SQL Source Control and SQL Doc show up in SSMS but don't depend on it, so you could remove the SSMS integration pack to remove those. But please be aware that the add-ins depend on the integration pack.
