Hi,
How to work arround this problem; VIEW SERVER STATE permission was denied on object 'server', database 'master'. The user does not have permission to perform this action. Msg 40520, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
Securable class 'server' not supported in this version of SQL Server.
SOLVED; using same account for server and database

As you have seen, you must use the server admin account, which we indicate at the bottom of this page https://documentation.red-gate.com/sm/adding-and-managing-monitored-servers/preparing-for-adding-monitored-servers/permissions-required-for-monitoring-servers.
Kind regards,
Alex
