SQL Source Control | Clear DB objects when switching a branch in source control

I am using SQL Souce Control in the Dedicated model. After committing my changes in the source control and changing another branch when I am clicking on "Get Latest" tab, I can see the Items which are not present in the current branch but present in the database because of earlier project work. Those items are being displayed as "Delete" but the checkbox is disabled, so I can't apply the changes to the database by clicking "Apply Changes". The same is happening for the items which I have changed in the earlier version. It is showing as "Edit" but the checkbox is disabled.
Is this the intended behavior or am I missing anything? Do I need to manually delete/Edit those items in the database and then go Get Latest tab?
Thanks in advance for any support/suggestions.
