Hello Team,
I am having trouble running the tool on a big table for compare, move all the data to another table due corruption, the table in question is fairly big around 800gb.
My question is normally what would be an average time to prepare all this to move (its not breaking this point). the machine in question is a quad core, 16gb of RAM. The other possible error is having trouble reading the corrupted pages.

There's not a hard and fast rule as to what is needed to run the tool I'm afraid.
This page https://documentation.red-gate.com/sdc13/troubleshooting/common-issues/troubleshooting-comparison-and-deployment-performance-problems gives some further information about how the tool works and this page https://documentation.red-gate.com/sdc13/getting-more-from-sql-data-compare/getting-better-performance-out-of-sql-data-compare gives some pointers as to how you might be able to improve the performance.
Kind regards,
Alex
