Error Msg in Sql Studio - cut off and not copy past able

Why in the name of everything that is good do I have to get annoyed with error messages
that are cut off (too long) and cannot be copy pasted?

That is quite annoying! What version of SQL Source Control and SSMS are you using and, also, what OS, screen resolution, and scaling do you have set?
If you click on the small bit of blue text at the right, does it open a window to report the error and/or expand a section at the bottom of the tab with the error information in a copy-able format?

I am using Windows 10, Resolution 1920x1200. 100% scaling
SSMS Ver. 17.9
SQL Source Control Vers 6.1.8.7584
Clicking on the blue text link doesnt do anything.
I do have 3 monitors configured and this happened on the middle one...

Hmm, I have all the same except mine is 1920 x 1080 rather than 1200. I'll track down a monitor with that resolution and check and/or, alternatively, if you are able to temporarily change yours to 1920x1080 and see how the error looks do let me know!

I hope that the article I linked above helped for the error you were seeing.
Regarding the the error overrunning issue I've raised this with the team as SOC-9646 and will update here when I have more information on it.
In the meantime, if you are able to reduce your resolution to 1920x1080 and see whether the issue appears there in your environment or not that would be very helpful.

I just wanted to say that the cutoff error messages should be fixed and the ability to copy to the clipboard for error dialogues has been added as of SQL Source Control 7.0.6.
