How do I add an object to a dependency diagram WITHOUT a new layout?

I move the objects where I want them. I need to add an object. The diagram is completely rearranged. How do I avoid that? Essentially, I want the layout to stay under manual control.

    Hi @PrimaryGoals ,

    You should be able to achieve this. First move the current objects to the locations you wish - then select all of them and mark them as hidden (right click > Select > All; then right click > Hide). After that if you add new objects they will appear and you can then "Show hidden" to get those objects back and they will be in their previous positions.
