Compatibility with Azure SQL Data Warehouse?

Is SQL Data Generator 3 directly compatible with Microsoft Azure SQL Data Warehouse?

    Thank you for your forum post.

    Microsoft Azure SQL Data Warehouse is not in the list of supported SQL Server versions available HERE.

    To my knowledge no testing has been performed on this platform.

    However if you can obtain a successful connection to your Azure Database using SQL Data Generator, it maybe possible to insert test data into the table or tables you require to have test data.

    I can support an enhancement request on your behalf for a future version of SQL Data Generator to support Microsoft Azure SQL Data Warehouse?

    Hi Eddie,

    How does one submit an enhancement request? I have had a lot of problems getting test data into SQL DW because of Polybase being such a picky eater. The current version of Data Generator will detect that I am trying to connect to SQL DW and explicitly declare it as unsupported.
